We all do it. . .

We all do it.
Some of us do it more than others.
Some of us talk about it.
Some of us don't.
For some of us it is daily,
for others only occasionally.
Regardless,
if we're honest -

We.All.Worry.

The worry possibilities are endless. . .

kids             popularity
money         deadlines
job              reputation
yesterday     time
weather       success
health          failure
clothes         mistakes
opinions       death
food             politics
weight          pain
travel           friends
future          pollution

May the God of hope fill you
with all joy and peace in believing,
so that by the power of the Holy Spirit
you may abound in hope.
Romans 15:13

When I was a little girl my Grandmother
used to refer to certain people as
"Worry Warts".  I've not heard anyone
use that term in a very long time, but
just imagine if we got a wart each and
every time we worried...I bet many
of us would have the dermatologist
on our speed dial list, ya think?

The song you're hearing,
"Our Hope Endures"
is one that speaks to me.
You can read the lyrics
HERE if you're interested.

"I sure hope you like it.
If you don't like it then you might not like me.
And if you don't like me then you might not
want to be my friend,
and if I didn't have any friends I'd be lonely
and I'd have no one to talk to
and . . ."

Get the idea?!

Thanks so much for this, Deb! And the song is one of my absolute favorites.

You are such an encouragement to us.

Love,
Freda

what an interesting and scary thought -worry warts!! how about if everytime I did worry it left a visible mark for all to see. Wow!!! I guess it would be alot easier for others to comfort us. but nothing would ever be kept secret.
